So, a lot has been happening. And yet, at the same time, not a whole lot has been happening really. What I thought was getting better at work has, in fact, gotten worse and more stressful. So, an opportunity came around and I took it. Last week I put in my two weeks at my job because I got a better offer at a new store opening right down the block. I'll be getting more money and it will be a huge change in my life which is probably something I could use at this point in time. It will be a different kind of stress and it will be good for me to learn new things and meet new people. But, I will, of course, keep up with all the friends I have made already.
On that same note, I have come to realize I'm pretty bad at keeping in touch with people. I don't know why but it isn't one of my strengths that I would list. But, who knows why . . .
The past month or so, I have been seriously editing the content of my first novel that I wrote, meaning more than just grammar. I have switched things around, taken some stuff out, and I'm putting more things in. I'm really excited about the changes I'm making and hopefully it will make the novel more solid and exciting. And of course, it will more than likely make a lot more sense!
NaNoWriMo is coming up very quickly and it will definitely be a challenge to begin at my new job as a sales floor supervisor and write 50,000 words in 30 days but I will be giving this challenge my all just like I did last year! Wish me luck!
My kitten is getting so big now! He almost weighs 4 whole pounds! Shocking, I know, but he has grown a lot a lot in the few months I've had him! He went from being able to curl up on someone's shoulder to being a long lanky kitten who doesn't fit on shoulders anymore but tries his best anyways.
